Peter Brown is a writer and illustrator of over a dozen books for children, including novels The Wild Robot and The Wild Robot Escapes; and picture books Creepy Carrots, Mr. Tiger Goes Wild, and My Teacher Is a Monster. His awards include a Caldecott Honor, a Horn Book Award, two E.B. White Awards, and a Children's Choice Award for Illustrator of the Year. He lives in Philadelphia.
