The Garden of Chaos and Hope
June 1-22 - April Richardson's collection of oil on canvas in an abstract impressionistic style inspired by locations around Medina County.

Around the World in 80 Days
July 31 - Aug. 25 - Inspired by the 1872 Jules Verne novel, Cleveland Photographic Society members’ exhibit of photographs celebrating the 80-day journey’s locations, cultures and modes of transportation.

June 26 - July 23 - The Evergreen Artists show works in a variety of mediums and many members are also in the Ohio Watercolor Society.

Brothers in Art
July 31 - Aug. 27 - Featuring works in a variety of mediums by local artists: Bill Beuther, George Harth, Darrell Kent, Craig Staufer, and Ricky Williams.

 

Gallery Spaces

Medina County District Library features four premium art galleries able to display the work of talented artists.

the B. Smith GalleryMedina Library Gallery, known as the B. Smith Gallery, is located on the third floor of the library. The gallery hosts monthly shows in a beautiful space filled with abundant natural light. The gallery hosts national shows, the Medina County Art League's annual Aquarius show in February, and exhibits from local artist and groups.

Thanks to the Medina County Arts Council, the B. Smith Gallery now houses an art display case that allows three-dimensional art to be safely shown.

Lodi Library and Brunswick Library Galleries are located in the libraries' Community Rooms.
