An educator card is a special library card, allowing you to borrow materials for a longer time period than with a standard library card. Educator cards cannot be used to borrow DVDs or new adult fiction. MCDL materials borrowed with the Educator Card have a loan period of 28 days. Material from other libraries is subject to the owning library’s loan period, which may range from 1 to 21 days. Overdue items may accrue fines.
To qualify for an Educator Card, a person must be 18 years of age or older, and
- Provide educational services as a teacher, daycare provider or group leader
- Present and maintain a current personal library card from Medina County District Library or any other Clevnet library
- Present Valid Photo ID # with current address
