MCDL News StoryWalk ® Summer Selection StoryWalk ® is a partnership between MCDL and Medina County Park District at Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park, 4985 Windfall Rd., Medina. It promotes literacy, physical activity, and spending time together as a family. Each season brings a new story. Watch for It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles G. Shaw on June 1. Thank You MCDL thanks the nearly 1,700 respondents to our Community Use Survey. Your comments and suggestions help shape the future of MCDL. Look for services to return as restrictions are lifted and new services to be implemented in response to our community's changing needs. New Bookmobile Outreach Services will debut a new Bookmobile this summer. It features a lift so book carts may be rolled out at public events or into senior centers. It is being designed to MCDL's specifications and will be ready for its debut at the Medina County Fair in August. Staff Honors Laura Kettering, Buckeye Library Manager, graduated from the "Resilient Class" of Leadership Medina County in May. Though most classes were virtual and a class project was not possible, members were tasked with completing 30 Acts of Purposeful Kindness to make Medina a better place. 10 All Book Drops Open The drive-up book drops at Medina and Brunswick libraries are back in service. This means all book drops at MCDL locations are now open 24/7. Tools & Tech MCDL's Tools and Tech collection is expanding to meet the needs of at-home learners and workers. Look for Chromebooks, microphones, more Wi-fi Hotspots, and other items, at all locations by August.
