Eliese Colette Goldbach was a steelworker at ArcelorMittal Cleveland. She received an M.F.A. in nonfiction from the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts program. Her writing has appeared in Ploughshares, Western Humanities Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, and The Best American Essays 2017. She received the Ploughshares Emerging Writer's Award and a Walter Rumsey Marvin Grant from the Ohioana Library Association, which is given to a young Ohio writer of promise.

Mike Chen is a lifelong writer. His novels include A Beginning at the End, Here and Now and Then (a GoodReads Choice Award Nominee), and We Could Be Heroes. Mike lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he can be found playing video games and watching Doctor Who with his wife, daughter, and rescue animals.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Robin Ha grew up reading and drawing comics. At fourteen she moved to the United States. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration, she moved to New York City and started a career in the fashion industry. Almost American Girl is a graphic novel about immigration, belonging, and how art can save a life. She currently resides in Falls Church, Virginia.

Julie Buxbaum is the New York Times bestselling author of Tell Me Three Things, her young adult debut, What to Say Next, Hope and Other Punchlines, and Admission. She's also the author of two critically acclaimed novels for adults: The Opposite of Love and After You.  Julie's writing has appeared in various publications, including The New York Times. She is a former lawyer and graduate of Harvard Law School and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, and more books than is reasonable.

Margarita Montimore is the author of Asleep from Day and Oona Out of Order, a USA Today bestseller and Good Morning America Book Club pick. After receiving a BFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College, she worked for over a decade in publishing and social media before deciding to focus on the writing dream full-time. Born in Soviet Ukraine and raised in Brooklyn, she currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and dog.
